Pregnancy Yoga

These classes are suitable from 14 weeks+ right up to the end of pregnancy:

  • Meet other pregnant women

  • Manage common pregnancy ailments such as pelvic pain, back ache or indigestion

  • Learn how to safely activate and release your core and back muscles

  • Find practices to help prepare you for labour

  • De-stress through simple breathing and relaxation practices

  • Have regular time to bond with your unborn baby

Birthing sessions (with partners):

These one off 3 hour workshops run regularly to help prepare pregnant couples for labour and birth. Suitable from 32 weeks+, it is not necessary to be already attending the pregnancy yoga classes:

  • Learn about how the baby moves down the pelvis in labour and practice movements that can help at each stage

  • Explore massage, breathing and relaxation techniques that can help in labour

  • Practice positions and breathing for birthing

Mother & Baby Yoga

These classes are for you if you have recently had a baby and want to:

  • Restore your energies through simple breathing and relaxation practices

  • Gently strengthen your pelvic floor and other core muscles

  • Manage aches and pains by developing awareness of your posture and helpful stretches

  • Have special bonding time with your baby by learning simple holds, massage and baby yoga moves

  • Meet other mothers in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere

You can join as soon as 2-3 weeks after birth if you feel ready to come. Wait until after your six week check if you had a caesarian birth. The classes are for young babies up to pre-crawling, but please don’t enrol a baby who is already mobile.

  • I had never done yoga before but decided to try it when I was 15 weeks pregnant and absolutely loved Belinda's pregnancy yoga classes until 41st week of my pregnancy. It was very relaxing time which helped my changing body and aching back, but also helped me to prepare emotionally for birth. Not to mention amazing friendships with other to be mums and now mums!
